Koroot Guesthouse is a non-profit.  The scope of Koroot's mission can be broken down into these areas:

• Guesthouse operations for overseas adoptees

• Counseling to find biological families & restoration of family relations

• Regular cultural events and parties to celebrate Korean traditional holidays

• Supporting cultural and art projects for overseas adoptees

• Publication, research & introduction of overseas adoption issues

• Hosting symposiums to promote research on adoption and academic exchange among adoptee scholars

• Urging improvement of Korean adoption law & policy up to international standards

• Solidarity activities with returning adoptees (TRACK, ASK, G.O.A,' L), and single moms’ association

• Build international networks with overseas adoptees’ organizations
